Check-in time is from 2pm. Check-out time is 10.30am. Where possible, flexibility with early check-in and late check-out will be provided, however, these are unable to be guaranteed. The facilities of the main lodge are available for enjoyment whilst at the property.

Rates quoted are per suite, per night for a maximum of two guests, in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of 10% goods and services tax (GST). A stay at the lodge includes gourmet breakfast, sunset drinks and canapes, dinner with daily inspired menu, open bar^ with premium wines and spirits from 6pm daily, non alcoholic beverages, selected in-suite bar*, complimentary adult mountain bikes, use of lodge facilities, and island airport transfers. ^Cellarmasters list additional *Excludes spirits

To ensure our exacting standards are maintained Capella Lodge will close for refreshment from 8 June 2025 – 30 August 2025 inclusive.

Extra Person Rate applies when staying in the same suite with a minimum of two guests (subject to maximum suite occupancy).

The lodge operates complimentary transfers connecting with scheduled flights to and from Lord Howe Island Airport shared with fellow guests.

As Capella Lodge is situated in a remote destination, it’s essential to advise any special dietary needs at the time of reservation. We will do our best to tailor menus accordingly whilst providing opportunity to enjoy a diverse range of premium regional produce. Should notice not be provided in advance, our chefs will endeavour to prepare suitable meals with the ingredients available. We regret we are unable to prepare meals requiring strict religious observance in the preparation.

A credit card is required to confirm a reservation. Full prepayment is required two months prior to arrival. We accept Visa, Mastercard or American Express or direct deposit. Payments by Visa or Mastercard attract a 1.6% surcharge; payment by American Express attracts a 2.47% surcharge (surcharges subject to change).

All bookings over the Christmas/New Year period 18 December 2024 to 31 January 2025 inclusive, and 20 December 2025 to 31 January 2026, must be secured with a non-refundable deposit of one night’s accommodation within 14 days of reservation.

Cancellations and booking amendments received between 60 and 30 days prior to arrival will incur a 50% fee. Within one month prior to arrival all monies paid will be forfeited.

No refunds or credits can be given in the event of non-arrival, any unused services, or unused nights due to travel and/or weather disruption. For peace of mind, we recommend you protect yourself with comprehensive travel insurance to cover any cancellation fees.

Capella Lodge welcomes children ten years and over. Application for exception may be made dependent on season, child age(s) and booking particulars.

A group is defined as four (4) or more suites, or more than eight (8) persons travelling together. As an intimate and boutique  property, strict conditions apply when making multiple or group reservations. View group policy.
